Diagnosed as ITES/ANEC based on MRI findings. Infectious causes ruled out via CSF study.Higher Immunomodulation started within 24 hrs . Significant Improvement noticed over next 7 days.child recognised parents and able to walk . Had Stage 2 AKI & transaminitis during initial days—managed conservatively.
No ventilation or inotropes was needed.Discharged with structured neurorehabilitation plan.
It shows the importance of early immunomodulation and Neuroimaging which can significantly improve the outcome.
