Story of a fighter brave heart!!
A courageous 3-year-old boy was referred to Ankura Hospital PICU from a local unit with severe sepsis and acute kidney injury. He was critically ill and required continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) and plasmapheresis. Over seven days, he fought with extraordinary strength, and his kidney function gradually improved. Despite this, he continued to battle overwhelming sepsis and short bowel syndrome. Despite every possible intervention, he tragically lost his life. His resilience touched everyone around him. Our hearts go out to his incredible parents, whose unwavering love and strength were a beacon of hope through the toughest days. They are true heroes.
